Escultura is Mailchimp's fine art eyewear brand — elevated, artistic, contemporary.

As Art Director of Photography, I led the visual direction for a studio shoot designed to feel more editorial fashion than tech marketing. It became one of the most frequently pulled libraries among Mailchimp designers, offering a sharp contrast to the brand's more lifestyle-driven identities.

"We commissioned original sculpture for the set because the brand needed to feel like it already existed in the art world."

The brief called for a higher-end customer with a visual world to match.

We shot in an art gallery environment including custom sculptures commissioned specifically for the production, creating a backdrop that felt genuinely art-world. The biggest creative challenge was the eyewear itself. To avoid copyright infringement, we purchased generic frames and reshaped them in post, a solution that required close collaboration between onset photography and retouching so the final eyewear looked sophisticated and modern.
