Bo's Buns was created to launch Mailchimp's integration with QuickBooks, making it the first brand my team built in direct support of a product partnership following Intuit's acquisition of Mailchimp. Serving two brand voices at once meant being mindful of both Mailchimp's creative standards and QuickBooks' — a constraint that shaped every creative decision from concept through delivery.

The photography focused on a day-in-the-life of the owner — running her bakery, managing customers, and using QuickBooks in the flow of real work. The goal was to make a product integration feel human, grounding the technology in the reality of a small business owner's day rather than leading with the software itself.

This was also the first brand where video was a primary component, treated with the same rigor as the photography. I co-art directed on set alongside the video director and lead designer.
